Well, actually, it is.
As some of you know, I was recently diagnosed with a benign 30-lb tumor growing out of my right ovary. Helluva honeymoon, huh folks!
I was contacted by the Discovery channel, because they're interested in filming the surgery for a show called "Surgery Saved My Life". Really it comes down to dollars and cents- if they don't want to pay me, then I don't want to be filmed.
Since the tumor is so humungous, I look like I'm 9 months pregnant. Sexy! If anyone cares to see, I posted a picture of it on my page, in "My Pictures". It's the very last one.
Ladies, the doctors think that it was caused by the HPV virus that we see commercials for on TV. Yes, it IS a form of cancer, but the good news is, it's extremly common and therefore, extremly curable. It's most prevelant in women ages 25-50, but especially in your childbrearing years (i.e. 25-35).
Get yourselves checked. It's uncommon that the masses grow to the size I've got, but I'll tell you, it's pretty damn uncomfortable. The other day my husband had to tie my shoes for me because I couldn't bend over and reach the laces. No fun at all!
